Privacy Policy

How SocialCropKit processes images and protects privacy.

Image processing

Images are decoded, edited, rendered and packaged locally in your browser. They are not uploaded to SocialCropKit servers and are not permanently stored by us.

Local preferences

The current version keeps tool state in memory and does not store uploaded images in localStorage. Closing or refreshing the page clears the working image.

Cookies, analytics and third parties

The application does not require cookies, accounts or third-party image processors. If privacy-respecting analytics are introduced, this policy will identify the provider and data collected before deployment.

Retention and requests

Because SocialCropKit does not receive the image, there is no server-side image retention record to delete. Contact hello@socialcropkit.com for privacy questions.

Browser memory and downloads

The selected file exists temporarily in browser memory. Exported files and ZIP archives are created only after you request them and are saved through your browser’s normal download mechanism. Refreshing or closing the page clears the working session.

What SocialCropKit does not require

The application does not require an account, authentication profile, subscription or payment information. Uploaded images are not placed in a SocialCropKit database. Current editor preferences and source images are not permanently saved by the application after the browser session ends.

Technical information handled by hosting infrastructure

Like most websites, the hosting platform may process basic request information needed to deliver pages securely, such as an IP address, user agent, requested URL, time and error information. That operational processing is separate from the local image editor and does not give SocialCropKit a copy of the image selected in the browser.

Information you choose to send

If you contact the business email, the email provider processes the address and message you voluntarily provide. Do not attach private source images when a written description or non-sensitive example can explain the issue. Correspondence may be retained as reasonably necessary to answer the request, document a correction or protect the service.

Security and responsible use

No web application can promise absolute security. Local processing reduces unnecessary image transfer, but users remain responsible for device security, browser updates and the sensitivity of files they choose to open. Avoid processing unlawful material or images you do not have permission to use.

Children’s privacy and international access

SocialCropKit is a general image utility and is not directed specifically to children. Users accessing the service from different regions are responsible for understanding local requirements that apply to their use and publication of images.

Your choices

You can remove the selected image, refresh the page to clear the working session, avoid sending an email, and use browser controls to manage site data. See the Cookie Policy for the current cookie position.

Changes to this policy

Material architecture or third-party service changes will be reflected here. The policy is written to describe the actual application rather than make broad claims unsupported by the implementation. Questions can be sent through the Contact Us page.
